We are a private secondary school affiliated with the Rafiki Foundation of the United States, dedicated to providing quality Christian education to children in Malawi.
About the Foundation
“Rafiki” means friend in Swahili and depicts the purpose of the Foundation—to help people know God and raise their standard of living. The vision of the Rafiki Foundation is to cultivate a multitude of godly contributors in ten African countries. To accomplish this, Rafiki established ten Rafiki Training Villages within the African countries of Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, and Ethiopia. These Villages provide living and educational facilities through Rafiki’s six programs: Bible Study, Education, Teacher Training, Orphan Care, Outreach, and Widows.
Curriculum
Rafiki adopted classical Christian education because it guides young students to reach their God-given potential and grow in wisdom and virtue. Over the course of 18 years, we developed the Rafiki Classical Christian Curriculum in order to craft an academically and biblically robust educational system.
